The Lotus

The lotus flower is the most recognised symbol throughout the Australasian region for personal & spiritual growth.

The lotus symbolises our ability to learn and - with the right approach, attitude and aim - our unique ability to rise above 'muddy waters', life's challenges, etc ... like the lotus flower, and perhaps ultimately attain a state of light-ness, inner peace, beauty, lasting happiness and fulfillment. 

The 'lotus heart' is the centre of the lotus flower .... and for staff at Lotus Heart it represents the essence of the lotus flower, its core, the part that directs and stimulates learning and growth.

Once you start looking for it, you can see lotuses often shown in paintings or pictures. Looking at a Buddha statue, often the Buddha sits on a lotus flower.
